Exhibition title: Towards Visual Strength - Ben Onuorah
In Creative Art, ideas come naturally, unconsciously even when we refuse to admit or pay attention to them. While studying Art at Yaba college of Technology, I caught myself doing more of abstract and semi-abstract drawing outside of the rigorous art assignments given at the college, also my fellow art students started to notice how easily I could play with abstract forms and motives. My sketch pad started having more of an Abstract look than realistic works.
Being very IT inclined as a programmer and web designer, I staged what I could call an open forum online art exhibition using the popular nairaland forum website in 2014, here is the web address www.nairaland.com/1582211/life-artist and the feedback I got on my Abstract works was mind blowing, and here is some of the interesting feedbacks I got:

:oOMG!!! he z soo good.I can cry.love artists lyk "wetin hapun".great job.great job!!!

Later when I was about completing my Bachelor’s degree in Art, one of the lecturer whom I respect so much in the person of Dr. Emmanuel Irokanulo, saw one of my abstract painting and he was very impressed and have to stop by to see it more than once, this again dazzled me, no lecturer in the college have ever made such positive remark openly about my work, and here is a PhD who have never taught me impressed with my work.
After graduation, I was chatting with a senior art colleague, Uzoma Anyanwu and he ask me to upload the picture of some of my artworks, I uploaded several of them (both abstract and realism) and he immediately pointed out that my core strength is in my abstract works.
Besides the aforementioned scenarios, I have received several other positive remarks about my abstract works, this is motivation behind this online solo Art exhibition, called “towards my visual strength” I present to you my abstract drawings and paintings. I hope you enjoy the exhibition.

Exhibition title: Lines in between the Motives
There is something interesting about drawings; maybe it’s because of its simplicity, basic aesthetics and its originality. Whatever it may be, as mature I as an Artist with lots of distractions that comes with life, I have been able to maintain my focus and appeal to my artist self with drawings because it cost almost nothing to draw on paper. This exhibition is showcasing some of my oldest to latest drawings, I hope you enjoy it. Thank you.

Exhibition title: Scenes and Places
Though I am not a professional photographer, but I have always loved beautiful scenes. In 2016 when I got married, my beautiful wife has this digital camera she bought for a project but never really used, so I saw this as a good opportunity to use the camera to take pictures of scenes and places myself. This is what gave birth to this exhibition. The online exhibition platform of FineArt.com.ng is a project I built to enable me as well as other Artists exhibit there works online for free.
